Anyone want to comment on Oprah and her web class with Eckhart Tolle and his book "A New Earth"?

To get things started, I'll begin with LOVE IT!

Unfortunately ellie, this forum appears to just be a breeding ground for negativity. Egos abound : )

ema, Eckhart Tolle is not a TV show host. It appears from your post that you are being condescending. Have you read the book?

I don't look to TV show hosts (no matter how rich) for my spiritual guidance.

A New Earth, by Eckhart Tolle, has changed my life so much. I wish I could buy a copy for everyone I know. My mother said the other day "I don't know what you are doing in that class, but keep on doing it. You seem so happy!"

I've let go of my "sad" story about my life ~ I'm no longer the victim. I'm more patient and loving toward everyone. I've learned that my ego was standing in the way of true happiness. I'm smiling at the world and it's smiling back at me.

Tonight is the last class, but my friends and I have decided to get together every Monday night and continue to support each other. If you've missed the classes, they are all available on Oprah's website. If you haven't read the book, Poor Richard's had a stock pile of them the last time I was there.

Ellie- I love it, too! I have fallen behind. I lost my book for a few weeks. My daughter found it and I am going to try to catch up over the weekend. I am just starting the pain body section and am looking forward to the racial pain body section- the possibility of shedding some light on the recent events surrounding the Rev. Wright drama.

It was very interesting to me that I seemed to have a real life lesson to go with each section of the book during the first sections. ld just come up in my life that proved the point we were studying that week. I guess that is being "in the flow".

I will post again as I read this weekend!
