Bernie Madoff stole money; ok, lots and lots of money and he was sentenced to 150 years (um, life without chance of parole) in prison.

Some other monster was given a sentence of a couple of months for raping a little girl.

Yet another raped and murdered a mother and her two young daughters and he was given what ? 20 years ?

My point: it is very obvious what our society considers precious - money !

I do agree that our justice system gets it wrong most of the time, however, I feel Madoff got just exactly what he deserved!

Now, if more judges would "throw the book" at offenders, our crime rates might drop drastically.

Well put, i was thinking the same exact thing last

night sitting by my wife at the TV.

He got way too much of a sentence. I told her it

is only money. Not like he killed someone.

I think he ought to go free. If you are dumb

enough to invest money with someone you

dont even know, that is your fault. Don't blame

the guy for being more clever than you.

Money comes and goes and is not

really important at all in the long run. Once

a life is gone, its gone....
