Locking a Golden Alert?

Shame on the State Journal for choosing to lock a Golden Alert. I understand the need to lock some local stories to encourage purchase of either the paper or the online content, but thoughtless to lock this article. You could have been instrumental in giving information that would help to find this man, but locked it. I would hope in the future you would not lock a Golden Alert or an Amber Alert.

I agree 100%. They really need to rethink their strategy in locking these type of stories.
