Breast Cancer Awareness + Volleyball = Dig Pink
September 15, 2009
The Western Hills and Franklin County volleyball teams are joining forces in the fight against Breast Cancer! The Dig Pink event will take place October 1 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Western Hills High School. All proceeds from the night will go to the Side Out Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness. The goal for the event is $5,000. There will be a silent auction as well as door prizes and pink concession items. T-shirts are also available with a pre-order cost of $12 and an on-site cost of $15. If you are interested in pre-ordering a shirt, please contact your favorite WHHS or FCHS volleyball player for information. All breast cancer survivors will receive free admittance and be recognized throughout the evening! Those in attendance are asked to wear pink to honor the survivors and in memory of those who have been lost! Please join us to raise funds for this great cause! Comments
