What's that about?

War creates jobs. You need people to fight, people to build weapons, people to work along the supply chain... Those who are called to fight, their jobs need to be covered... all around you get people to work, earn money and spend it. It used to be that lots of troops got killed in wars, not so much anymore. Less job creation at the front, less job creation at home at the jobs those people used to fill... First problem why war doesn't help the economy anymore.
Second problem, used to be that the spoils of the war go to the winner, now we pay reparation for every house destroyed, every door kicked in in search of insurgents. We pay for infrastructure repair preferably done by locals. Money spent on an economy that's not ours, no reward for winning the war... no economic gain. No matter what, the people are still hostile towards us, want us out, are not too embracing of the 'liberators'... not much incentive for them to start trading with us or to follow our instructions when it comes to building their economy. Again, no economic gain.
War used to be a great way to get ones own economy going as long as one is on the winning side. Now it's just a moneypit.

Need: We don't get the money; the government makes a huge amount of money off of war. Our economy is in the tank for many reasons, mostly because we help a lot of countries out and never get money back.

Well I guess Obama will turn the economy around with his citizen army. War on the homeland, that will keep us in line and raise the GDP.
Pass the grape flavor.
I would rather chew foil than walk with the leftys.

So, if war is such a huge money maker, how is it that our economy is in the tank? Pass the Koolaid and foil please...

President Eisenhower warned of the military industrial corps many years ago.
War is money... your right.

have no idea what you all are thinking, but why would a citizen of the United States create a terrorism attack against their own country?
One reason: MONEY, war is a HUGE money maker

Most of the "Hollywood Elite" are a bunch of left wing lunatics with nio connection to reality. I guess if you live in a land of make believe all the time, reality becomes an abstract idea. I'm buying stock in Reynolds Wrap.

How is it that the same people who say Bush was a bumbling oaf give him credit for masterminding 9/11. I mean, a broken clock is right twice a day and all, but seriously... Not even Clinton and Bush Sr could've pulled this off.
You hit the nail on the head when you said "Alex Jones". He makes ME look like someone who's all there.

More foil hats in here I see.
Hey do you guys remember when the WTC was attacked by exploding a van in the sublevel parking garage? Hey wasn't Clinton president then? I guess he was in on the second attack too.
Give the credit for 9/11 to whom it is due. Radical Islamic terrorists mostly from Saudi Arabia.
Lets come back to Earth and use a little common sense here.

I have no idea what you all are thinking, but why would a citizen of the United States create a terrorism attack against their own country? It would be too easy to get caught. Just because you never like President Bush, you think he's at fault. Don't lay fault on someone just because you never cared for them or you didn't approve of the work they performed. Just because the terror attacks occurred while Bush was in office, don't lay the blame on him UNLESS YOU CAN PROVE SOMETHING. You've got to have facts. And, you have none because you never worked in D.C.
