The U.S. Secret Service is investigating a "poll" posted on Facebook that asked users the most unsocial, unspeakable question: Should President Obama be assassinated?
Edwin Donovan, a spokesman for the Secret Service, said the agency will take "appropriate investigative steps" in connection to the survey, which was posted on Saturday and was quickly removed when Facebook employees were alerted to its existence.
"We are continuing our investigation," Donovan told FOXNews.com, declining further comment.
The poll asked respondents: "Should Obama be killed?"

There are some song lyrics that go something like this, "I am an old hippie and I don't know what to do. Should I hold onto the old or grasp onto the new?" Let the past go grammargal. We have all had things happen that were not fair.
Grammargal, if you truely want change as you say then start within dear. You are not getting turned away from anywhere and havent for decades now. Either take the progress in civil rights as a win or hold it back with the victim stance. Maybe you are the problem in the here and now and not everyone else. Seriously, what is holding you back now?
Just a thought.

RACIST.
That seems to be the new buzz word. Racist, Socialism, . . .
If you look at the body of work by President Obama it appears to me he is a hand on guy.
Never have I seen this much activist acuity.
And, Activist SOMETIMES can be considered VISONARY. Is Obama an VISIONARY? I think so that is way some are soft on support for this President. VISONS require change and uncertainty for a time and most can't handle DRASTIC CHANGE.
So far as being a VISONARY . . . it is hard to tell . . . that is until the Health Care debate is over. Is socialism to want to cover the poor and needy with health insurance?
Any person that does see the vision of total coverage might want to think about what do we do with those that CAN NOT afford Health Insurance?
Do they keep using the EMERGENCY ROOM or do we just let them sit in a sick bed or a wheel chair until their demise.
There can be not REFORM in health insurance without public option from the Government.
Put it this way . . . If you belonged to a brotherhood that had a monopoly and making billions and billions of dollars would you want competition?
Without PUBLIC OPTION WE WILL NOT SOLVE A THING.
This President is savvy, well educated and has a huge following. One thing I wish he would do though, is go back to New Orleans and help get the government off its hind end and give those disadvantage people the help they deserve.
After, all it was the Core Of Engineers that missed the mark in the LEVIES many years ago. the delay by previous administrations if here was appeared to be not much following up once the TV Cameras were gone.

Smartgirl1. I'm sorry you feel that way. In case you haven't noticed, I have not said anything negative about anyone in politics. I simply said I respect the man, Obama, because he is indeed a visionary. We are not used to this type of man. It's not necessary to use profanity to get your point across. Of course you can disagree with Obama. Of course he is not above reproach. I defend no one. I have my own opinion and it belongs to no one but me. BTW, when did you discover that you were black? How long have you been black? I've lived through the 40s through the 60s and unless you've been turned away from a restaurant, movie theatre or church because of your color. Unless you've had to use a certain door or water faucet, you don't know. You have no idea what it's like. I've been black for over 60 years dear. As I said before, how long have you been black?

Illiterate originally meant lacking a knowledge of literature or similar learning, but is most often applied now to one unable to read or write: necessary training for illiterate soldiers. Unlettered emphasizes the idea of being without knowledge of literature: unlettered though highly trained in science. Uneducated refers especially to lack of schooling or to lack of access to a body of knowledge equivalent to that learned in schools: uneducated but highly intelligent. 2. unenlightened.
Pick your poison. My wish for those of you who just can't seem to understand because you haven't been there--that you are zapped into the body of a black person for 24 hours. Maybe then you'll get it then. Read the book 'Black Like Me.' It's the story of a man who lived as a black man. He was awakened to the truth--unless you have lived as a black person, you cannot possibly understand what it is like.
