Franklin County’s boys soccer team had several players earn postseason honors, and head coach Zac Donnelly was named Coach of the Year for guiding the Flyers to a 15-7-2 record and the quarterfinal round of the state tournament. Pictured from left to right are Adam Jones, Second Team All-State; Donnelly; Bryce Burton, Second Team All-State; and Tyler Crombie, honorable mention All-State. All three players played for the East squad in the All-State games at Ryle High School Nov. 14. Donnelly coached the East All-State First and Second teams.

rcrombie: what a ridiculous statement. I guarantee that FHS and WHHS students would say the same about FCHS. I know all I ever see in the paper is FCHS stuff. But I am sure that is because they are more successful then the other teams in the area. Be happy that this isn't like it is in Louisville. If you're not St. X or Trinity...you are S.O.L. I think the sports staff in at the SJ does a pretty good job of putting out equal coverage. But I am sure my comments will cause something...let the inch measuring begin.

This is funny... When players from WHHS & FHS from a few year ago get FIRST team all state they get nothing... interesting.

KHSAA Soccer Coach of the Year!!! That is great. Seems like they would give it a little more coverage
