Buffalo Trace wins World Spirits awards

The whiskies of Buffalo Trace Distillery received numerous honors during the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Whiskies winning the double gold medal are Sazerac Rye 18-year-old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, Thomas H. Handy Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and William Larue Weller Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Winning the gold medal are Eagle Rare Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Charter 101 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Benchmark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Blanton’s Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Pappy Van Winkle 20-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Winning the silver medal are Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey.

Regular hours for Duckers

Duckers Lake Golf Club Fitting and Repair Shop is now open on a regular basis. 

It operates Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, however, appointments are available anytime.

Duckers is a custom fitting and repair shop located at Duckers Lake Golf Course at 98 Buena Vista Drive.

Its definitely a good idea. I just hope theyre able to get the diesel prices down a little so they can compete with other stations. It is a nice store though. I stopped in a couple nights ago and Shelly was really nice. I hope they stay around.

I stopped by the "127 Travel Plaza" over the weekend. It's clean and bright, gas price was good, looks like they'll have a deli, too. Glad to see new businesses!
