This isn't an opinion, but a question: where can one buy a stamp(s) in Frankfort outside the hours of 9-5, M-F?

It's frustrating that my 30 min. lunch isn't long enough to fight Versailles Road traffic, get to the Wilkinson office, stand in a long line, and drive back for one stamp (or one book of them). I'd appreciate some alternate location suggestions that I can use before work or after it. Thanks.

Fifth Third Bank has them in their ATM now.
I was thinking there was another bank that had them in their ATM also.

Office Depot also sells stamps. Is the West side post office still open? Also, the Hallmark Store in Brighton Park is a satellite post office--I have mailed packages there. Stamps by mail or on-line works, but you have to plan ahead, of course. Since you can now buy forever stamps, I tend to buy them ahead more often. Also, the post office is open Saturday morning.

Thanks for the Walgreen's suggestion - that's the type of thing I need for those once in a while bills that can't be paid online. I normally keep a book, but it always seems like two bills come in when I only have one stamp left. ;)

I've tried buying stamps from Kroger before (west), but they told me I could only buy a roll. I guess it depends on what they have available at the time of your request.

You can also get stamps by mail. The PO has a postage paid envelope with an order form which you complete, enclose a check, drop in the mail and you have your stamps in a couple days. Any order accepted, one stamp or one book or ever how many you need. Easy, don't have to leave your home and waste gas.

Also, Kroger always has stamps at their office/customer service desk.

Hope this info helps.

Walgreen on the East side is NOT open 24 hours a day. Only the West side is.

I have finally found a solution to the stamp problem..since the post office decided to get rid of anyway to buy a stamp after hours! Go figure!!!!!...Walgreen on east or west side of town has books of stamps and they are open 24 hours a day. You just have to ask them at the register. Finally I don't have to waste my time standing in an hour line on a Saturday morning at the post office!!! Hope this help!

Use the pull-down menu here to choose "alternate locations to buy stamps" and then enter the zip code:
