George Quire Jr.

George Quire Jr., 79 years, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, at his home.

Services for Mr. Quire will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Napier officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A native of Franklin County, he was born March 22, 1932, to George Quire and Ruth Lynn Quire. He was a farmer.

Mr. Quire is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Penny Lynn Quire; four wonderful children, George Robert Quire, Terry Clark Jr. (Jennifer), Geneva Ruth Smith (Jimmy) and Melissa Keefer (Bob); two adoring grandchildren, Ryan Lynn Clark and Samantha Hope Keefer; and a sister, Emma Rogers. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roy Quire; and three sisters, Florida Lynn, Lillian Quire and Pearlie Hukill.

Bearers will be David Weber, J.C. Lynn, Roger Hellard, Jimmy Smith, Kerry Redding and Sam Tracey.
