Leon Paige

Leon Paige, 82 years, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Services for Mr. Paige will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at Harrod  Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Jumpp will officiate. Burial will follow in Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A native of Frankfort, he was born April 20, 1929, to James Gilbert and Bessie Dickey Paige. He retired from the Franklin County Road Department where he was a night watchman and was a self-employed painter. 

Mr. Paige is survived by his wife of 47 years, Twila Maupin Paige; children, Eva Mae Meadows, Phillip Grimes (Teresa), Michael Paige (Marcella), David Paige (Ashley) and Richard Paige (Mary); grandchildren, Valyn Hall, Anaca Paige, Alexis Paige, Cathy Tibbits, Donnie Ray Campbell, Samantha White (David), Kayla Grimes (Jordan), Regan Paige, Nicholas Paige, Jerricca Paige (Jeremy), Jalen Paige, Mathew Leon Paige, Melissa Sams, Jessica Noble and B.J. Hunter; and great-grandchildren, Derrick, Arodginay, Logan, April, McKenzie, Lexie, Jaiden, Fancy, Natasha, Mitchell, Stuart, Tatyana, Jessica and Seanae.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bryant Sharfe, Ollie Sharfe, Herman Sharfe and Luther Sharfe; and sisters, Daisy Marston and Viola Smith. 

Pallbearers will be Gary Sharfe, Ronnie Haynes, Chuck Brock, Bobby Hall, Junior Maupin and Chris Meadows. 

Honorary bearers will be Donnie Maupin, Timothy Daniels and Ishmael Maupin.
