Lloyd Robertson

Lloyd Odell Robertson, 80 years, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at his home.

Services for Mr. Robertson will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jon Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A native of Franklin County, he was born November 19, 1931. He was a superintendent and retired from White & Congleton Construction Company. Mr. Robertson was a 62-year member of Carpenters Union Local 1650.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Nickles Robertson; sons, Michael O. (Pat) Robertson, Frankfort, David W. (Sharon K.) Robertson, Houston, TX, Charles Edward Robertson, Frankfort; daughters, Mary Ann Robertson, Frankfort, Sharon (Robert) Presley, Frankfort; a brother, William F. (Kathleen) Robertson, Frankfort; sister, Cleo Robertson Hamilton, Versailles; grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Trent, Waddy, Amanda (John) Cook, Lawrenceburg, Brandon (Amanda) Presley, Frankfort, Jonathan (Heather) Presley, Frankfort, Adam (Haley) Presley, Frankfort, Sarah (Frank) Hemmen, Houston, TX, Andrew (Cheranda) Robertson, Houston, TX, Charles Edward Robertson, Jr., Frankfort, Emily Brooke Robertson, Frankfort; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William and Mary Helen Goecke Robertson and two brothers, Tommy and Gene Wayne Robertson.

Bearers will be Brandon Presley, Jonathan Presley, Adam Presley, Charles Edward Robertson, Charles Edward Robertson Jr. and Jason Smith.
