Marvin E. Duvall, 84, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012. He was born in Frankfort on August 28, 1927 to the late John and Mae Bridges Duvall. He was a member of Thornhill Baptist Church for over 50 years.
He built, owned, and operated Elkhorn Mobile Home Park, was a retired insurance agent and farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Duvall and daughter, Dianne Booth, both of Frankfort; son, Eddie (Lisa) Duvall, of Stamping Ground; five grandchildren, Deenah and Chad Booth, Jeremiah, Clint, and Andee Duvall; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Irma Anderson and Lois Towles, both of Glencoe. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Duvall.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, with Rev. William Hartung officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers are Chad Booth, Jeremiah Duvall, Clint Duvall, Scott Tracy, Scottie Dunn, and Terry Duvall. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
