Robert Monroe

Robert T. Monroe, Sr., 70, died Sunday April, 29, 2012. He was born here in Frankfort on May 18, 1941 to the late Hollis and Offie Monroe. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was retired from United Catalyst & Chemicals.

Mr. Monroe was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Gravitt Monroe.

He is survived by four children, Beverly DiGiacomo, Anita Davis, Melissa Woodruff and Robert T. Monroe, II; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday with burial following in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
