Bev Lewis Lathrop

Bev Lewis Lathrop entered into Eternal Rest on May 1, 2012 at her home in Lexington, KY. For nine months, she fought a long hard battle with cancer. Bev was active in sports, and attended Georgetown College on a tennis scholarship, and later transferred to UK where she ran on the track and cross country team. Bev graduated from UK and was associated with The Lexington Tennis Club and obtained a tennis professional license and taught many students. 

Survivors are her husband, John David Lathrop; son, John Mathew Lathrop; daughter, Kacey Ann Lathrop, all of Lexington, KY; parents, Jim and Ann Lewis; sister, Carol Ann; brother, Bob (Regina) Lewis, all of Frankfort, KY; nephews, Chad Lewis of Frankfort, KY, Chip (Jill) Lewis and their children, Kaitlyn and Bradley, all of Bowling Green, Jeff (Laura) Lewis, and their children, Ben and Kate, all of Knoxville, TN; and family members, Cassie (Travis) Proctor and their son, Tanner Walker. Bev had many wonderful friends, neighbors, and special friends that will greatly miss her. 

A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Crossroads Christian Church, 4128 Todds Rd, Lexington, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent in Bev’s name to Crossroads Christian Church. www.clarklegacycenter.com
