Elizabeth Sanders

Services for Elizabeth G. Sanders, 95, Frankfort, will be held noon Saturday at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home. Dr. Chuck Queen will officiate. Burial will follow in Frankfort Cemetery. 

Mrs. Sanders was a native of Bridgeport and was a secretary for Mr. Henry Ward at the Dept. of Transportation. She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the Ruth Sunday School Class and the group XYZ’s.

She was the daughter of the late James Hyder and Susan Martha Wilson Gibbs. 

Ms. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Sanders.

Survivors include her niece Alma Jean Smith, Nicholasville; grandnephew, Bo Smith, London; three grandnieces, LeeAnn (David) Parker, Lexington, Kimberly Smith, Nicholasville, and Beverly Agee, Pittsburgh, PA; great grandnephew David Nelson Parker, Lexington. 

Visitation will be held Saturday 10:00-12:00 p. m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Sutherland, Marcus Yancey, Curtis Smoot and Rob Laurenson.
