Imojean Stidham

Imojean Stidham, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 14, 2012 after a short illness. A native of Hazard, KY, she was born on August 17, 1931 to the late Bert and Mae Stollings. She retired in 1986 as a teacher and head of the Department of Cosmetology at the Hazard Regional Vocational School. She was a member of Frankfort First Assembly of God church. 

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Eugene Stidham; two daughters, Gwen Stidham-Neff and Pat Brown, both of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Jonathan Brown and Matthew Brown, both of Lexington, and Kristal Stacy, of Lawrenceburg; brothers, Martin Stollings, of Hazard, and Marshall Stollings, of London; sisters, Bobbie Horn, of Beattyville, Marie Bailey, of Canton, MI, Juanita Stollings, of Lexington, and Deloris Justice, of Hazard; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, and funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, with Pastor Ernest Fridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be left at www.clarkfuneralchapels.com.
