Sterling Turner

Sterling Turner, 52, died Monday, May 14, 2012. He was born in Frankfort on August 28, 1959 to Dorothy “Tom” Turner, of Frankfort, and the late Bobby Lee Turner. He was retired from the State of Kentucky and was a member of Shelby Christian Church. 

He is survived by his two sons, Derek (Dani) Turner and Garrett Turner, his brother, Kenneth (Venita) Turner, his former wife, Carla Turner, and his granddaughter, Avari Nicole Turner, all of Frankfort. 

Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, with Reverend Dave Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 

Casket bearers will be Derek Turner, Garrett Turner, Michael Turner, Brian Turner, Danny Barker and Phillip Barker. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
