Janice Jones

Janice Carol Tillett Jones, 61, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012.

Services for Mrs. Jones will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. David Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

A native of Carrollton, Kentucky, she was born July 22, 1950, to Elmer and Edith Thornton Tillett. Mrs. Jones retired from Allied Signal, formerly Bendix, where she was a production scheduler. She attended North Frankfort Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth W. Jones; children, Keith W. Jones and daughter-in-law, Lauren Jones and Tonya Jones Hammons and son-in-law, Dr. Todd Hammons; brother, Wayne (Shirley) Tillett, Olive Hill, KY; sisters, Peggy Fisher, Lockport, KY, Dorothy Rice, Frankfort, Sue Tillett, Bethlehem, KY, Dana (James) Lee, Bethlehem, KY; grandchildren, Holt and Sophia Hammons, Ava Jones and Nolan Cheshire; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Tillett; and sister, Barbara Smith.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Fisher, Brad Fisher, Lee Thompkins, James Lee, David Gayle and David Raisor.
