Jean A Rudloff, 88, died Tuesday morning, June 12th, at her daughter’s house in Alabaster, AL.
Jean was a longtime resident of Frankfort, living here from 1957 until 2010 when she moved to Birmingham, AL. Jean was born in Elgin, IL, the daughter of the late Anthony B. and Marjorie Zenk.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael, of Alabaster, AL; four children, Catherine (James) Sponholz of Whitefish Bay, WI, Ann Rudloff of Colorado Springs, CO, Frank (Susan) Rudloff of Portland, OR and Margaret Rudloff of Alabaster, AL; two grandchildren, Owen Rudloff and Margaret Sponholz; and one brother, Gregory Zenk.
Jean was a member of Good Shepherd Church while in Frankfort and very active in the arts community, serving as Frankfort Arts Foundation president from 1975-1978.
Funeral Mass was held Saturday, June 16 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Birmingham, AL with interment in the OLV Columbarium.
