Pamela Perry Giles Sweasy

LAWRENCEBURG – Pamela Perry Giles Sweasy, 70, died July 8, 2012 at Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. She was born Sept. 5, 1941 in Lawrenceburg, KY daughter of the late John William and Christine Perry Giles.

In 1993 she retired as a secretary with the Workforce Development Cabinet. She was a member of the First Christian Church. 

Pam is survived by her husband of 51 years, Billy Ronald Sweasy, two daughters, Laura Parrish of Lawrenceburg and Gwen Peach (Greg) of Ashland, 5 grandchildren, Kelly and Nicholas Parrish, Johanna Dickerson (Jason), Adam and Jacob Peach, 2 great-grandchildren, Haley and Allie Dickerson, a sister, Ginger Haydon (Butch) of Lawrenceburg, 2 brothers, Larry Giles (Patty) and Johnny Giles (Felita), both of Lawrenceburg, 2 brothers-in-law and 5 sisters-in-law.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at First Christian Church with Rev. James Wheeler officiating.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home and after noon Wednesday at the church.
