Mary Johnson

Mary Elizabeth Tatman Johnson, 89, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

Services for Mrs. Johnson will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jay Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the service.

A native of Frankfort, she was born July 4, 1923, the daughter of Raymond and Carrie Bain Tatman. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Mrs. Johnson was the widow of Courtney W. Johnson Sr. and preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Johnson; her parents; brothers, Carl, Richard, James and Sterling Tatman; and a sister, Katharine Tatman.

She is survived by her sons, Courtney W. Johnson, Jr., Russell G. Johnson (Gina), Larry McCann; daughters, Marilyn Eggen, Amanda Cunningham (Steve); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Ann Sartin.

Pallbearers will be Michael Mitchell, Charles Poff, John Cunningham, Steve Cunningham, Bradly King, Brian Johnson and David Johnson.
