Vivian Conway

N. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Vivian Ammons Conway, 90, wife of the late Robert T. Conway, Sr., died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at The Summit Place in Little River, SC.

She was born January 7, 1922 in Dillon, SC a daughter of the late Julius L. and Bertie Surles Ammons. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diane, and a sister, Phoebe.

Ms. Conway was an executive secretary for the Kentucky Department of Human Resources in Frankfort, KY for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church in N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

She was a warm loving lady and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She is survived by: two sons, Robert Conway, Jr. and wife, Debbie of Whiteville, NC, and Jack Conway and wife, Patty of Frankfort, KY; a twin sister, Mirian Lewis and husband, Randy of Florence, SC; four grandchildren, Chris Conway, Laura Conway, Gabriel Conway, and Eric Conway; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Interment was held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC. An online guest book is available at www.msfh.net.
