Ruth Foust Jones

Graveside services for Ruth Foust Jones, 99, widow of Weldon Jones, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Benton Cemetery.

She died Wednesday at her home.

Friends may call at Rogers Funeral Home from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Friday.

  • Ruth Jones was a real lady. She is one of the most memorable teachers to grace the halls of Frankfort High School. She was there during Frankfort High's glory years and very much a part of them. I sat in her classroom for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry and considered myself very fortunate to be there. She is responsible for educating many of Frankfort High's most successful. Thank you, Mrs. Jones for all you taught me. After I became a teacher, she and I had a little thing we would say when we ran into each other in public.
