Oleida Hulker

Oleida Faye Elam Hulker, 83, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Services for Mrs. Hulker will be held Friday, August 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hulker was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on June 28, 1929, to Corbitt and Florence Literal Elam. She was a retiree of National Distillery and a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammie (Chip) Barker, Frankfort; two grandsons, Brandon Shane Barker and Christopher Travis Barker, both of Frankfort; two sisters, Jean Kendall, Frankfort and Betty O’Nan, Louisville.

Mrs. Hulker was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Hulker; her parents; brothers, Wiley Elam, Eddie Corbitt Elam, Jr.; and sisters, Loraine Sudduth and Bonnie Hatchell.

Alan Barker, Mark Tackett, George Southworth, Bill Tabor, Tommy Lippert and Jeff Mulder will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are suggested to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church Building Fund, 495 Duckers Road, Midway, KY 40347.
