Evan Dunaway

Evan Eddie Dunaway, 61, died Wednesday August 29, 2012, after a long illness. He was born on April 19, 1951 in Franklin County to the late Thomas and Alma King Dunaway. He was a laborer at Rookard Real Estate.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Dunaway, of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Angelia Ritchey (Joseph Sanders) and Ashley Dunaway, both of Mercer County; son, Evan Dunaway II, of Mercer County; two sisters, Lucy Carol Sturgill and Sharon Dunaway, both of Broadhead; brother, Thomas Dunaway III, of Frankfort; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road.

Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the funeral home with Chaplin Gary Story officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers will be Thomas Dunaway III, Evan Dunaway II, Mike Doyle, Chris Schlosser, Clarence Caudill and Jack Rookard. Honorary Casket bearer is David Clubb.
