He was employed by the State Department of Highways for 42 years and retired as the Resident Highway Engineer of Franklin County. He was a charter member of Highland Christian Church, which he attended all his life and through his final days. He was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan. He spent many years each football season rooting the Cats through from the stands. His wife and family were the center of his life. He never met a stranger and everyone who met him knew and loved him for his booming voice and magnetic personality. Mr. Caudill was also a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4075.
