Services for Zelma Smith, 74, Frankfort, will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor. Rev. David Rayborn will officiate. Burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of Bagdad, she was the daughter of Frank Hartwell and Lucy Katherine Stivers Montfort.
She was a retired line operator at GE, former employee of Jones Plastics and Trigometer and at one time owned her own cleaning business. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Denny (Kevin) Phillips, Frankfort; two sons Dwayne Bailey, Shelbyville, Dale Bailey, Bagdad; brother Hart (Betty) Montfort, Cropper, Calvin (Judy) Montfort, Bagdad, sister, Thelma (William) Rogers, Jeffersontown, KY; grandchildren Mackenzie and Meg Phillips, Sarah Bailey.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne, Dale and Sarah Bailey, Kevin, Denny, Mackenzie and Meg Phillips.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
