Zelma Smith

Services for Zelma Smith, 74, of Frankfort will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. David Rayborn will be officiating and burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, September 12, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. A native of Bagdad, she was a retired line operator with G.E and worked at Jones Plastics, Trigometor and had a cleaning business. Mrs. Smith was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Frank Hartwell and Lucy Stivers Montfort.

Survivors include daughter Denny (Kevin) Phillips of Frankfort, sons Dwayne Bailey, Shelbyville and Dale Bailey of Bagdad; brothers, Hartwell (Betty) Montfort, Cropper, Calvin (Judy) Montfort of Bagdad, sister Thelma (William) Rogers, Jeffersontown, Ky. Three Grandchildren, Mackenzie Phillips, Meg Phillips, and Sarah Bailey.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne, Dale, and Sarah Bailey, along with Kevin, Denny, Mackenzie, and Meg, Phillips.

Visitation will be Saturday 10 a.m. till service time at 2 p.m. Flowers are welcome or donations to ones favorite charity.
