Jean Short

LEXINGTON – Jean Farmer Short, 72, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 after a long battle with lung disease.

She was born December 13, 1939 in Frankfort, KY to the late Daisy Anglin.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Don) Feheley; son, Claude (Kathy) Farmer Jr.; and two special grandchildren, Justin and Ashley Farmer, all of Lexington. She also leaves behind a special adopted son, Joseph Lopez, whom she raised as her own for 17 years; and several brothers and sisters, Tim, Buddy, Pete and Shirley. A gathering of Family and Friends will be Oct. 4, from 5-8 p.m., with a Time of Sharing at 6:30, at The Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. A Memorial Service will take place Oct. 5 at 1 pm at Leestown Gospel Church, 980 Wilkinson Blvd., Frankfort, KY. www.clarklegacycenter.com.
