William Anderson “Bill” Graves, 79 years, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at his home.
Services for Mr. Graves will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Reverend William Hartung officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the service. A Masonic Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
A native of Woodford County, he was born April 13, 1933, to Granville JT Graves and Ida Terry Graves. He retired from Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement as a Lt. Supervisor. Mr. Graves was a member of Hiram Lodge #4 F&AM, a former member of Thornhill Baptist Church and a current member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Terry Graves (Sophia), Sharon Fincel, Gina Rigsby, Debbie Fisher; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Fink (Mike), Shannon Fincel, Chris Adcock (Jill), Jennifer Adcock, Andy Fisher, Blake Fisher, Jason Graves (Tamara), Justin Graves, Jacqueline Hill; nine great-grandchildren, Chase, Keirstin, Brianna, Amiah, Mackenzie, Marissa, Haylie, Scarlett, London; a brother, Granville Lewis Graves of Indianapolis; and a sister, Jean Heady.
Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret McDonald Graves; a son, Ronald Wayne Graves; his parents; and two sisters, Dorothy Riddle and Ruby McGaughey.
Bearers will be Terry Graves, Ricky Graves, Justin Graves, Andy Fisher, Blake Fisher and Roger Heady. Honorary bearers are Arnold Clark, Jimmy Grider, Ron Martin, Jim Baxter, Stephanie Fink, Mike Fink, Chris Adcock, Jennifer Adcock, Shannon Fincel, Jason Graves and Jacqueline Hill.
