Hilda Tracy

Services for Hilda L. Tracy, 88 yrs., will be conducted from Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, with Reverend Billy Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Tracy passed away Friday, October 12, 2012, at her residence in Frankfort.

Hilda was born June 17, 1924, in Franklin Co., KY, and retired as a machine operator for Texas Instruments. She was a member of the Oasis Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by two sons, Leon Tracy, Jr. (Rita), Pleasureville, KY, and Peter L. Tracy (Peggy), Paris, KY; daughter, Sharon Tracy, Frankfort, KY; grandchildren; Ron Burke, Lee Burke, Glenda Burke, Rusty Tracy, Jamie Tingle, Daniel Tracy, Lane Tracy, Tim Tracy, and Jennifer Johnson; 18 great grandchildren; 6 great, great grandchildren; nephews, Rick Burke and Tim Jumpp; and niece, Rebecca Shryock. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorena Cleveland Jumpp and Moro Jumpp Sr.; husband, Leon Tracy, Sr.; sister, Esther Burke; brother, Moro Jumpp Jr.; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Tracy.

Ms. Tracy’s grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
