Kathleen Roberts Goodrich, 90, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, the daughter of late Benjamin Franklin and Mattie Roberts, born in Frankfort, Kentucky on October 21, 1921. She was preceded in death by a sister Dorcas Carter and a brother Kenneth Roberts. She is survived by a daughter Jo Carol Carter and a son-in-law Donald Carter, a grandson Joe Carter and a granddaughter Marilyn (Kim) Klotz, and a nephew Frank (Donetta) Carter, a very special friend and care giver, Chris Smith. She was employed by the National Distillers for 35 years. A member of the Millville Christian Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and held many church offices. An original commissioner of the North Woodford Water District, donating many years of service to the community bringing water to the farming community of north Woodford County. A special thanks to Dr. Brian Smith and the staff of Taylor Manor. Graveside service will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012 at Frankfort Cemetery, with Rev. Ray Holdren officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Monday, October 15, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Donations may be made to Taylor Manor, Millville Christian Church, or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
