Billie Ann Summers Bost, 73, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at The Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
She was born March 24, 1939 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late William Franklin Summers and Pearle Parker Summers.
She graduated from Boyden High School and was a Homemaker. Billie Ann was a member of Park Avenue Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir and served on various other church committees. She was also a member of the 317 Eastern Star of Rockwell.
Billie Ann loved to sing, cook and spend time with her grandchildren.
Including her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Richard “Sonny” Summers.
Left to cherish her memories are sons, Bradley A. Bost and wife Jennie of Salisbury and Mark W. Bost and wife Kimberly of Augusta, GA; daughter, Jewel Bingham and husband Billy of Lawrenceburg, KY; brother, Edward Lane Keller and wife Christine of Stallings; grandchildren, Ashley Swinson, Richard, Sammy, James, Brandon and Justin Bingham; Caroline Bost, Cory and Ryan, Stephenson, Alex, Spencer and Camryn Bost and great-grandchild, Julia Clevenger.
Visitation is 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Park Avenue Methodist Church, 500 Park Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28145.
Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Park Avenue Methodist Church the Rev. Ann Mandelstamm, Rev. Spencer Swain and Rev. Kevin House officiating. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, 8625 Hwy 52, Rockwell, NC 28138.
