Evelyn Lovell

Evelyn May Whitaker Lovell passed away peacefully in the company of her three children Friday morning, November 16th in Louisville.

Formerly of Versailles, Evelyn was a well-known antiques dealer and artist who had shops in Louisville, Versailles and Midway, from

1970-1995. She was a founding member of the Woodford County Historical Society and a member of the First Christian Church of Versailles.

Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, Frank L. Lovell, Sr.; her

parents, Eva and Rev. Howard Whitaker; a sister, Nancy Whitaker Crawford, and a brother, Howard W. Whitaker, Jr.

She is survived by her children: Frank L. Lovell, Jr. (Debbie), Lynne

L. Smith (Lachlan), and H. Bradford Lovell; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was buried next to her husband in the Frankfort Cemetery following a private family graveside service that was held on Saturday, November 17th.
