Ann Martin

KNOXVILLE, TENN.—Ann Wayne Gordon Martin, age 74, Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Cynthiana, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Serene Manor Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Born in Frankfort, February 24, 1938 to the late Charles E. and Goldie Mae Bozier Martin, she was an administration assistant for several state and federal agencies and a member of Cynthiana Christian Church.

Besides his parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a very special sister-in-law, Carl (Jean) Gordon; two sisters, Virginia Kennedy and Lillian Hippe and two nephews, Larry Edmond Graham and N. Douglas Hippe.

She is survived by her son, R.H. (Debbie) Martin, Cynthiana; a daughter, Julie (Charlie) Loveday, Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Macy Lucille Martin and Brandon Hilen Martin, Cynthiana; three beloved nieces, Ann Leslie Gordon Sacre and Elizabeth Ann Graham, both of Frankfort and Sally Sacre, Clearwater, Florida; three beloved nephews, R. Carey Graham and Carl Eddie Gordon, both of Frankfort and Gary Gordon Graham, Inverness, Florida and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Cynthiana Christian Church.

Private graveside service will be in Versailles Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Virginia 22312.
