Ann Martin

CYNTHIANA – Ann Wayne Gordon Martin, age 74, Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Cynthiana, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Serene Manor Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born in Frankfort, February 24, 1938 to the late Charles E. and Goldie Mae Dozier Gordon. Ann was an administrative assistant for several state and federal agencies and a member of Cynthiana Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a very special sister-in-law, Carl (Jean) Gordon; two sisters, Virginia Kennedy and Lillian Hippe and two nephews, Larry Edmond Graham and N. Douglas Hippe, all of Frankfort.

She is survived by her son, R.H. (Debbie) Martin II, Cynthiana; a daughter, Julie (Charlie) Loveday, Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Macy Lucille Martin and Brandon Hilen Martin, Cynthiana; four beloved nieces, Ann Leslie Gordon, Elizabeth Ann Graham and Candace Sacre, all of Frankfort, and Sally Sehl, Clearwater, Florida; three beloved nephews, R. Carey Graham and Carl Eddie Gordon, both of Frankfort, and Gary Gordon Graham, Inverness, Florida; and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Cynthiana Christian Church. Private graveside service will be in Versailles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Virginia 22312.
