Agnes Barker

Z. Agnes, Barker, 80, died after a long illness on Friday morning at her home in Frankfort where she lived with her niece Kathy Smith.

The daughter of the late Alfred Thomas and Lelia Mae Owens Barker, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Hammond and Annie Barker; her brothers, John and William Barker; and her companion, Roy Snow.

She was retired from the Frankfort Plant Board where she worked for 32 years.

Survivors include Ms. Barker’s nieces and nephews, Kathy Smith, Connie Meriwether, Danny Hammond (Donna), Debbie Mitchell (Richard), Sandra Shelton, Karen Fryman, Alice Holbert (Gary), Randy Barker (Rene), Jeanie Harris (Dennis), Joyce Stewart, Billy Barker, and Janice Sexton (Ronnie).

Pallbearers will be Danny Hammond, Cody Fryman, Jason Hall, Justin Hamilton, Gary Holbert, and Mike Hamilton.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Rogers Funeral Home. Friends may call at Rogers from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
