Services for Laura Curry Duncan, 85, will be held in Highland
Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Duncan, who died Friday morning in Frankfort Regional Medical Center, will be buried in the Bagdad Cemetery.
Born in Woodford County on November 29, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Maggie Raisor Curry and the wife of J. T. Curry. A graduate of Versailles High School, she was retired after 40 years at the Ky. Dept. of Transportation and was a member of Highland Christian Church.
Aside from her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mary Louise (Ray) Sturgeon of Austin, Texas; a brother, Isaac W. (Jean) Curry of Frankfort; a brother-in-law, Gylispie Duncan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Curry and Aileen Curry; and two brothers, James Curry and Robert L. Curry.
Pallbearers will be David Curry, G. A. Duncan, Steven Duncan, Donald Morse Jr., Jim Pryor Morse, and George Quire.
Dr. Glenn Birckett and Dr. Scott Rollins will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday.
Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
