Joyce Johnson

Joyce H. Johnson, 67, died Monday, January 21, 2013.   

Joyce was born on April 6, 1945 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Daniel Boone and Anna Carrington Harris. She was a retired employee for the Kentucky State Labor Cabinet, a past president of Chapter 622 Purple Heart Association. 

She is survived by her husband, Paul Johnson, Frankfort; her son, Anthony Johnson, Berea; daughter, Paula Johnson, London; sister, Virginia Banks, Lexington; two grandchildren, Matthew Johnson and Christopher Cedric Boone Hinkle. 

Funeral will be 1 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013 at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester.  Burial will follow to Winchester Cemetery.  Rev. Steve Banks will officiate the service.  Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road.  Condolences may be left at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
