Jimmy Ray Works

Jimmy Ray “Jim” Works, 67, of Punta Gorda, passed away suddenly at his home Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was  born September 15, 1945 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Bill and Pansy Works.

He graduated from FCHS in 1963. He served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War, and then received his degree in accounting at U.K. He was retired from LRC Budget Review and enjoying his retirement in Punta Gorda, FL. He is survived by his loving daughter Cheri Lynn Works of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Frankfort. Services will be private and his final rest will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Frankfort, KY.

Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
