I have many fond memories of Uncle Clinton. In the mid 1980's my two children, wife & I visited Clint and Martha in Kentucky. Clint rented a houseboat and took all of us on one of the church fishing outings. We caught close to 150 bluegill. My children were thrilled.
THEN, Clinton would not let me help clean them. He fileted every one of them in a short period of time. He and Martha also took us on a tour of the Capitol building and introduced us to their co-workers. The Attorney General at the time even asked me to vote for him. I informed him that I did not live in Kentucky. He replied that I could vote via absentee ballot. We all had a good laugh then.
During one trip to El Paso to visit my folks, my wife and I took them on a shopping trip to the
“old market” in Juarez, Mexico. That was a real shopping experience. At the market, the vendors are used to bickering on the sale price. Clint and Martha were experts at bargaining. We had a very good time on that venture.
Rest in peace Uncle Clinton and may GOD BLESS/
