Nancy Childs Myers

Nancy Childs Myers, 82, died Fri., Feb. 8, 2013, in Lexington, KY. Born January 21, 1931, in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ryburn Thomas and Carolyn Collins Childs.

Ms. Myers was a graduate of Frankfort High School and the University of Louisville, although a big UK fan. She was a retired Registered Nurse from King’s Daughters Memorial Hospital of Frankfort.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Myers, Robert (LeeAnn) Myers, and F. Scott (Lynette) Myers; one daughter, Mary Myers (Gary) Collier; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Thomas Childs.

A private family service will be at Lexington Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Ashland Terrace, 475 S. Ashland Ave., Lexington, KY 40502. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, in charge of the arrangements.
