Jeffery Todd Hardin, 43, son of Roger and Vonda Hardin of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday at his home of natural causes.
Survivors other than his parents are his sisters, Angie Wingfield (Tommy Griffin) of Frankfort and Lisa Phillips (Connie) of Lawrenceburg; uncles and aunts, Danny C. Hardin, Susan Purvis (Jerry), Kathy Patchell (Randy), Shelby Adcock (Jerry) and Mary Slaughter (Gary); niece, Ashley Sparks; and nephews, Jamie Roberts and Eric Burge. Jeff was a loyal and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend as well as godfather to Chase Begley. He leaves behind his special friend, Angela Hockensmith and a little girl that was a very special part of his life named Autumn.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Cecil and Gertie Hardin; maternal grandparents, James and Christine Hopper; and uncle, Shirley Hopper.
Jeff graduated from Franklin County High School in 1987. He was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Jeff loved fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with his family. He spent his life dedicated to helping others in need.
Services for Jeff will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Eric Burge, Jamie Roberts, Jordan Slaughter, Patrick Myers, Chris Slaughter and Randy Patchell.
