Jean Luttrell

Jean Leathers Luttrell, age 84, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Services for Ms. Luttrell will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. Her son, Reverend Dan Luttrell, will officiate with Reverend Jerry Parritt assisting. Burial will follow in The Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday.

Ms. Luttrell was born December 15, 1928, in Shelby County, KY. For 20 years, she enjoyed serving as the pianist for the First Assembly of God Church. She retired from Kentucky state government and was a member of The Antioch Church.

She is survived by her sons, Dan Luttrell (Patty), Doug Luttrell and David Luttrell; grandchildren, Lindsey Hix (Ryan), Jordan Luttrell; one great grandson, Levi Hix; two sisters, Joyce Leathers and Helen Burchfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Luttrell was preceded in death by her parents, Hurtle and Evelyn Gatewood Leathers and two brothers, Sonny and Doug Leathers.

Bearers are Duane Ellis, Danny Hulker, Doug Luttrell, David Luttrell, Ryan Hix and Jordan Luttrell. Johnny Luttrell will serve as honorary bearer.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory are suggested to The Antioch Church, P.O. Box 1457, Frankfort, KY 40601.
