Charlie Thompson, 69, of Frankfort, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.
Born in Lexington, he was a son of the late Fred and Melvina Thompson. He was a retired mechanic, and a member of Graefenburg Christian Church.
Survivors are his companion, Linda Ethington, Frankfort; two sons, Carlos Wayne Thompson and Christopher Charles (Bridgett) Thompson, Paducah; two daughters, Chasity Thompson and Millie Thompson, both of Frankfort; four grandchildren; two brothers, Reuben and Tommy Thompson, both of Lexington; and five sisters, Jean (Jessie) Hicks, Manchester, Gracie (Chuck) Napier, Nicholasville, Pinky (Sam) Thompson, Anna (Nolan) Kirby and Refa (Bob) Moss, all of Lexington; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Leigh St. Don, and a brother, Pee Wee Thompson.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 6 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial was in Lexington Cemetery.
