Alma Joyce Clubb Pugh, age 82 of Frankfort, died Friday, September 13, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Bethlehem and was the daughter of the late Barton and Ethel Cox Clubb. She worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky as an Executive Secretary for 31 years.
She is survived by her husband: Carlos Pugh of Frankfort; her son: Jeffrey Pugh of Lexington; one grandchild: Paige Paxton Pugh of Lexington; five nieces: Shirley Rucker of Eminence, Barbara Shroader of Louisville, Francie Samples (Jack) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marsha Lee Clubb of Lexington, and Karen Davis of Lexington; and one nephew: Barton Wayne Clubb of Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Conrad Clubb and Marshall B. Clubb; and two sisters: Juanita Giles and Naomi Leavens.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Doctor Chuck Queen, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church of Frankfort, officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at sholarfuneralhome.com.
