Vivian Grey Lee House, 101 years, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013, at home.
Services for Mrs. House will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. John Opsata officiating. Burial will follow in Peaks Mill Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
A native of Frankfort, she was born May 4, 1912. She was the daughter of Alonza and Beulah Bledsoe Lee. Mrs. House was a former employee of Doc Moore Insurance. She was a life-long member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by her son, Russell House, Tennessee, daughter, Eleanor F. Wilson, Lawrenceburg; son-in-law, Daniel C. Wilson; son-in-law, Fred F. Bradley; daughter-in-law, SueEllyn House, Illinois; grandchildren, Stephen L. Bradley, Anne Russell Merchant, William “Buff” Bradley, Margaret Coffey, Jeff Greenlief, Vivian Fleming, Shelley Green, James Tudor, Katie Rolon, Mary Boulamatsis and Jon Tudor; 25 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and her special friend and caregiver, Gladys Bryant, Shelbyville.
Mrs. House was the widow of Burton House and was preceded in death by her daughter, Bettye Carol Bradley; her parents; sisters, Lucille Shearer and Dorothy Gray; and her brother, Karlton C. Lee.
Her grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
