LAWRENCEBURG — Evelyn Morrow Green, 91, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
Services for Mrs. Green will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Reverend Eugene Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Evelyn was born on August 24, 1922 in Franklin County, Kentucky to the late Green Berry and Otha Grimes Morrow. She retired from Fruit of the Loom where she worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed traveling with family, quilting, and her flower garden.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Norma D. Green of Frankfort; son-in-law, Charles D. Taulbee of Lawrenceburg; and two grandsons, Greg Green (Lisa) of Frankfort, and Dale Taulbee (Angie) of Lawrenceburg. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Matthew Green, Ally Green, both of Frankfort, Andrew Taulbee, and Kassie Gregory, both of Lawrenceburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Green; a son, Ira Scott (Ike) Green; a daughter, Ruth Ann Green Taulbee; and two sisters, Louise Morrow Simmons and Jean Morrow Moran.
Pallbearers will be Greg Green, Matthew Green, Dale Taulbee, Andrew Taulbee, Brian Monroe, and Josh Dean. Honorary bearers are Ally Green and Kassie Gregory.
