LEXINGTON — Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Flint Dulude, 81, of Lexington and Boca Raton, FL, wife of Donald O. Dulude, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013, at her home in Florida.
Dottie was a native of Louisville and the daughter of John Bidwell and Nancy Whitehouse Flint.
She was a graduate of the Kentucky Baptist Registered Nursing College, was a medical record librarian and worked at St. Joseph Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and the Shriner’s Hospital.
She was a member of The Church of the Ascension, Frankfort, and also belonged to the following societies: Daughters of the American Revolution, Founders and Patriots, First Families of Kentucky, Magna Carta Dames, Colonial Dames, The Jamestown Society and the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club, in
Boca Raton, FL.
Survivors besides her husband of 33 years include two children, David (Toni) Griffin, Morning View, KY, and Kathleen “Kathy” Johnson, Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Shawn G. and Christopher Johnson and Katy and Daniel Griffin; a brother, Ed Flint; a niece, Lily Flint; and a nephew Luke Flint.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at The Church of the Ascension, Frankfort, KY, by Father William Neat, Father Chuck Ellestad and Father Bill Brown. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
Her grandchildren will honor their grandmother by serving as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Shriner’s Hospital, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502. Johnson’s Funeral Home, Georgetown is in charge of arrangements.
